Mr. Greg Johnson has over 35 years of experience in exploration, development, and corporate finance for large-scale precious and base metals projects, with a track record of exploration discovery and project advancement through feasibility. Co-founder of NovaGold (TSX, NYSE: NG), and key contributor to the significant expansion and advancement of the Donlin, Galore Creek, and Ambler projects prior to acquisition by major partners Barrick, Newmont/Teck, and South32. Also, broad experience in capital markets as part of raising over $650 million in equity financing for five exploration/development companies over his career. A co-recipient of the PDAC Thayer Lindsley Award for the discovery of the 40 Moz Donlin Gold deposit and has been recognized for his collaborative work with Alaska Native Corporations and Canadian First Nations, including the Yukon’s Robert E. Leckie Award for environmental stewardship. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Western Washington University.
